Unlock 5: Abhishek Bachchan Says ‘Best News Of The Week’ As Cinema Halls Will Be Allowed To Reopen From October 15
Abhishek Bachchan expressed his excitement as Unlock 5 guidelines were released, and it allowed for the reopening of cinema halls and entertainment parks from October 15 with 50 percent capacity
The lockdown which began in March has slowly been eased out and we shall have Unlock 5 starting very soon. Even though there are some transport facilities and shops that have reopened, the theatres have stayed shut for the last few months. However, now, theatres will soon be allowed to open with 50 percent capacity in this new phase of unlock. Twitter exploded with this news coming in from the government and Abhishek Bachhan took to Twitter as well to express his joy at this decision.
On Wednesday, the ministry of home affairs released the guidelines for Unlock 5 and they allow reopening of cinema halls and entertainment parks from October 15 with 50 percent of their seating capacity. Abhishek Bachchan would not contain his excitement and was quick to express his joy on Twitter. While reacting to the news, he wrote, “The best news of the week!!!!”
As he expressed his excitement, a social media user slammed him saying how he is only worried about money and not about how many people would die because of this. Replying to this, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Yes, money is important. As it is for everybody. But also thinking for my lacs of brothers and sisters that work and live off our great film industry. Cinema’s opening with restart the turnstiles.”

Since the lockdown was imposed, several films such as Sadak 2, Gulabo Sitabo and others skipped theatrical release and directly released on OTT platforms.
